Bangalore’s first “Digital art museum”, the New Public Museum, opened its doors for public viewing on the 18th of February, 2023.

Situated in the heart of Bengaluru, it bridges the gap between old and new forms of art with the latest being the NFT or also known as Non-Fungible Tokens which exists on the blockchain.

Currently the museum is led by Kamini Sawhney, it aims to showcase varied mediums of art and make it more accessible to both the artists and the public. The NFT, which is entirely digital in nature, yet to be accepted as a mainstream art form, shall now be presented in greater quantity.
